In 2023, Water4All launched its Joint Transnational Call (JTC), inviting international research teams to propose innovative solutions for sustainable water management. After a competitive evaluation process, Sustain-R was selected for funding, recognizing the project’s strong potential to contribute to:
- Nutrient recovery and cycling
- Aquatic system restoration
- Ecosystem services and sustainability
The Water4All JTC program is co-funded by the European Union through Horizon Europe and national research agencies. By supporting projects like Sustain-R, it aims to advance scientific knowledge, strengthen international cooperation, and deliver practical solutions to safeguard our planet’s water resources.
